The After Bar: Belgium 4 – USMNT 2
Planting the Seed of Soccer Across America: Danny Beerseed
The United States mens's national team learned some hard lessons in their 4-2 loss to Belgium Wednesday night in Cleveland, Ohio. The Nats fell behind early only to snag one goal back through defender Geoff Cameron. The wheels came off in the second half as the U.S. defense gave up three goals in a fifteen minute period. Clint Dempsey's late penalty was the sole consolation of a poor second half.
The USMNT faces Germany on Sunday in their Centennial match from Washinton, D.C. before resuming World Cup Qualifying on Friday June 7th against Jamaica.
